Modern life pressures people to trust data, trends, and visible outcomes. Faith, however, calls believers to trust God beyond what can be measured or predicted. As 2026 unfolds, the challenge is not simply believing in God, but believing God.
Paul writes, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Walking by faith means obedience even when results are delayed. It means trusting God’s Word over emotions, culture, or circumstances.
Abraham serves as a powerful example. Scripture says, “By faith Abraham… obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went” (Hebrews 11:8). Faith did not give Abraham a map; it gave him direction. God often works the same way today.
To grow faith in 2026, practice obedience in small things. Faith matures through action. James teaches, “Faith, if it hath not works, is dead” (James 2:17). Acting on God’s Word, even when it feels uncomfortable, strengthens trust in Him.
Spending consistent time in Scripture is essential. Romans declares, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). A Word-filled life produces a faith-filled heart. As believers saturate their minds with truth, faith naturally grows.
