Sam Storms on the Love of God

Although Christians affirm that “God is love,” many have questions about what God’s love looks like or about how it is offered and to whom. In this video, Dr. Sam Storms takes on a number of difficult questions about what the Bible describes as the steadfast love of the Lord.

The Steadfast Love of the Lord explores Scripture to find a clear picture of what God’s steadfast, unfailing love looks like and how, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, believers experience his affection.

Questions Addressed in the Video

  • Could God still love me after I’ve committed a terrible sin?
  • Does God’s love ever change?
  • Is God’s love unconditional?
  • Does God love everyone, even the wicked?
  • If God is love, how do we interpret his hate in the Bible?
  • How can God be loving with so much injustice in the world?
  • Why would a loving God send someone to hell?
  • If God loves me, wouldn’t he want me to be true to myself?
  • Doesn’t God’s love for me mean I should be able to do whatever I want?
  • What does it mean that “God is love”?
