The Truth Will Set You Free, Because It Will Not Let You Be

This may be my last major monograph and it follows in the footsteps of The Problem with Evangelical Theology and also my Biblical Theology. The Convergence of the Canon.  It is certainly one of my most important studies, and it was prompted by how many current Systematic Theology volumes done by conservative scholars Protestant and Catholic in fact aren’t systematic theology, but are rather systematized particularly brands of Protestant or Catholic Biblical Theology which do not deal with so many of the context issues, like the Bible’s narrative thought world, or it’s historical and rhetorical contexts, which make actual Biblical Theology stand out from the modern systematizing of key ideas abstracted from all but perhaps their linguistic contexts, and then called ‘topics’ or ‘themes’.
