The Significance of the Third Day

The resurrection of Jesus Christ did not happen at a random time. It occurred on the third day, and that timing carries deep spiritual meaning throughout scripture. The third day is not just a detail in the story, it is a pattern that reveals God’s power, His faithfulness, and His perfect timing.

In Luke 9:22 He said the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected and be slain and be raised the third day. This was not a guess or a possibility, it was a divine promise.
