Those Brits really know how to pile it on. Is the widow paying for this mistake? It reminds me of the famous story from a couple of years ago when the Social Security Administration wrote a letter to a woman in South Carolina which read in part, as follows……
“Dear Ms. …….
We are very sorry to hear you are deceased. If your condition should change in the near future, please drop us a note, and we will begin again to send you your social security checks.
